Swirlin…

what do you do when you’re head is all ties up in personally thoughts… I mean..very specific, life changing personal thoughts….

I think most men go out and drink… and that;s what I did.

Braving the 20 degree weather; which coincidentally made me utter “It’s really not that bad out”, I met a good friend at the Belgian beer bar. and drank…. heavily…

Sella.. Delirium… Parliament… Stella… Stella… mmmm…..

We bull-shitted about pubcrawls, “the ladies”, the lack of newly interesting bars or clubs in the area… While in the patio area, I ran into David C. Not initially introduced as such, however, later I learned he was one of the frat boys in the RV scene in the movie Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. In town we mulled over why this bar with “all this techno” was any good and what else he and his gf could check out in the area.

Several of the other guys from the scene were at the bar and I brought up the suit I had heard about.

David had let me know, he did not sue, but that two of his faternaty members on the RV did sue over deformation of character and the two guys. Much of the suits against the movie, were deemed frugal and attempts to garner some cash from their infamy. However, in the case of these guys (and apparently anyone that signed the waiver for the movie) Century 21/Fox is able to counter-sue (language added to the waiver) and now these guys are forced to PAY the production company over six figures.

Damn… sucks for u to try to make a buck after signing a legal waiver uh?! Always read what you’re signing!!!
