I signed up for the first time to join the thousands for the annual AIDS Walk in NYC which as they claim to be the world’s largest AIDS fundraiser.
What is AIDS Walk 2005?
AIDS Walk New York is a 10 kilometer (6.2 mile) walk through Central Park and surrounding streets that will take place on Sunday May 15, 2005. The AIDS Walk is a fundraiser for HIV/AIDS organizations in New York: organizations and individuals organize teams of walkers to collect pledges and raise money for their organization’s programs and services for people with HIV. 100% of the donations benifit many HIV/AIDS organizations through out the city.
How can I join AIDS Walk?
To join you can either form a team, join another team or walk as an individual. You can register online.
How can I help raise money for AIDS Walk?
