GOP put’s down the walking challenged

I haven’t even begun to touch the subject of the latest GOP propaganda campaign where they have been pigeon holding the Dems as a party that wants to “Cut n Run” – which they imply means get out of Iraq without “finishing the job”. I don’t think one GOP representative can inform the general public what the “job” is that we still need to do, since it’s been almost a year now since Bush claimed the “Mission Accomplished”.

IL Rep. Peter Roskam recently used the term “cut n run” to describe his democratic opponent’s stance on Iraq in a debate for the House position up for grabs. Tammy Duckworth, Mr. Roskam’s opponent actually served in Iraq as a National Guard Pilot and coincidentally had to have her legs cut off as a result of an attack she survived in the campaign. Tammy certainly can’t run and the reference just calls to Peter’s hallow shell of a candidate that regurgitates what ever phrases his GOP master tells him to, without reference or thought to the focus of his accusations.

Sad, Sad man.

Injury of the Season!!!

“T-Rac” the Tennessee Titans’ raccoon-like mascot, rolled over the rookie Saints quarterback Adrian McPherson at the end of the half as he was walking back from the locker to start the 3rd quarter. The mascot rides a a modified golf cart with a bucket seat (pictured).

“He got run over by the mascot,” coach Sean Payton said. “I don’t know what to do. We’ve got to play the Titans. The mascots and all the other stuff going on, it’s crazy.”

“That’s an issue,” Brees said. “They definitely should do something about that. I mean, to get hit by a golf cart on the field by the mascot. I can’t think of anything dumber than that.”

This has got to be the worst injury of the year and the season hasn’t even started…
