So the latest BUZZ in Japan is the apparent need for comfort for men (and women I suppose) to relax with with the help of a good woman’s….lap. It’s apparent in Japan (and asia apparently) that the practice of laying one’s head on a welcoming lap of a woman is popular enough to capitalize on this cultural phenomenon. And so what we have now is the “Lap Pillow” – Wow the board members of this company must have had many late nights and too much Pocky and Nihonshu coming up with that marketing name grabber.
This pillow will run you 9,429 yen ($90) and was molded from a real woman’s lap and as you can see from the pics, its a replica of a woman kneeling on her heels in a red or black skirt. Makoto Igarashi, Trane Co Ltd’s managing director (company that produces the pillows) says “Care was taken with details such as the softness of the thighs, panty lines on the pillow’s “backside” and wrinkles in the lap of the skirt so as to make the pillow look and feel as real as possible.”
It’s meant apparently for relaxing….. uh huh… I see it for horny old men and the lonely lesbians of the world that want to simulate the feeling of resting on a woman’s lap or other things… SKEET SKEET!
I’m thinking for that price, 9 lap-dances from REAL woman strippers would be more useful and a better investment than this faux-lap replacement. Plus you’re not looking like a sex-offender waiting to happen when guests come over and notice you’re lappy pillows complementing your plastic covered couchs.
