Here is the second part to the article on HIV/AIDS I sent out a few months ago.
The article By Liam Scheff, basically states that getting diagnosed as “HIV positive” depends more on your ethnicity and neighborhood, than on results of the test.
A “positive” result on a white person from an affluent neighborhood is a “false positive” and doesn’t require notifying the tested person.
A “positive” result on a black person from a poor neighborhood calls for immediate drug treatment. A “negative” result on a black person from a poor neighborhood calls for more testing.
